Basswood Lodge is a family - owned hunting preserve started in 1996. Located along the game-rich St. Lawrence Valley in Northern New York, our specialty is wing shooting being one of the premier destinations for waterfowl and pheasants along the Eastern U.S.

 

Basswood Lodge owns 1300+ acres consisting of a spectacular mixture of fertile wetlands, planted crops, and hardwoods. We also lease several thousand more acres exclusively for duck, goose, turkey and deer hunting.

Basswood has three fully equipped lodges with ability to accommodate 30+ hunters. We are proud to have hosted clients such as The Flyway Highway, World Champion Caller and Call maker Jeff Foiles-Foiles Migrators, Mark Kiefe IV-American Rifleman Magazine and Tom Weaver-publisher of Wildfowl/Gun Dog Magazine. We have also hosted industry representatives from Mossberg, Ithaca and Smith and Wesson firearms as well as groups from Ducks Unlimited and the New York State Outdoor Writers Association.
