New York's Premier Wing Shooting Preserve - Offering Duck, Pheasant, Goose & Wild Turkey
Happy Customers

To: Basswood Lodge & Hunting Preserve
Attn: John, Dave, & Bob

Just a note to say how much I really enjoyed being at Basswood Lodge. The duck and Pheasant hunting were superb. The contrasting preserve habitat makes for a very challenging hunt.

If a hunter wanted a memorable hunt or one which will be remembered for years to come, then this would be the place to be at. Perhaps what remains with me most was the camaraderie I felt from all of you. The welcomed feeling of hospitality in the air upon entering the lodge after the hunt. Basswood is a place for me and my companion (a Black Lab) Rudge, to come and have a great time, good conversation, and great hunting. This is camp life at it's best. I really look forward to many more memorable hunts at Basswood Lodge.

Thank you Gentlemen

Sincerely,
Dr. Michael Devineentis

Dear Dave,

Just a few lines to let you know how much I enjoyed our fabulous duck hunt. I've hunted waterfowl in many different states, provinces of Canada, Alaska, Mexico and South and Central Americas. For puddle duck hunting, I must say, your new facility for accommodations and quality shooting ranks among the best. I am looking forward to next season already.

Good luck and good hunting.

Best regards,

Dear Forsythes:

The amount of birds, the quality of the cover and the great group of folks we met provided my brother-in-law and me the hunting experience of a lifetime. My only suggestion for the future is to advise your clients to bring a prodigious amount of shells --- I was completely humbled in the field.

Please set aside a couple of bunks for the 2002 duck opening. David is already trying to figure out how to come back again THIS year.

Sincerely yours,

ps: There are two pheasants in the oven as I write this.

Dave:

I just wanted to say thanks for a good hunt on Monday. We enjoyed it very much. The only thing we would do different the night at the Lodge (and eat pheasant) or stay at Henderson Harbor so we wouldn’t have to drive all the way home. We ran into some bad weather on Route 81. Please tell your brother John that I really appreciated how hard he and his dog Max worked in getting birds for my 80 year old father. I definitely think you will see us again, maybe for a Goose and Pheasant weekend.

Thanks Again.
