In 2006 Basswood Lodge purchased Old Stone Fence Hunting Adventures, a neighboring big game preserve. Since then we have made many new friends and had plenty of fun with this end of the business.

Our preserve offers affordable trophy hunting packages for all ages - from children to even the most seasoned hunter. Our guides will assist you in every aspect of the hunt. You may use your weapon of choice be it: bow, rifle, muzzleloader, pistol or crossbow.

We do not  double book dates for the preserve. If you book a day, only your hunting party will be hunting that day. We will hunt however you want:  spot & stalk or some people prefer to take a stand or ground blind for the morning.

Once an animal is harvested our guides will transport it out of the woods, field dress it and  have it butchered.

We offer hunting packages for wild russian boar, buffalo, fallow deer, varieties of ram, bull elk and red stag.
